BIODYNAMIC CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY – AN INTRODUCTION

This introductory talk will explore the foundation principles of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST), a very gentle and deeply profound bodywork modality.

BCST is a healing art that engages directly with the dynamics that create and maintain health in the human system. It has roots in cranial osteopathy and has evloved to inlcude influences from biophysics, mindfulness, trauma resolution and recent advances in neuroscience.

BCST supports nervous system regulation and the resolution of conditions resulting from stress trauma. Practitioners use a deeply perceptive, gentle, non-invasive touch to engage and enhance expression of health in the living system.

This presentation is a free 60 minute introduction preceding a two day hands-on workshop held on 6th & 7th June 2020 at WE Institute in Crows Nest.

During this 60 minute introduction the participants will gain experiential insight into the palpation of the central nervous system rhythms and the ability to utilise those rhythms diagnostically and therapeutically.

CONNY PULVERMACHER

Conny Pulvermacher has been a clinical practitioner, yoga teacher and holistic health eductaor for over twenty years. She holds qualifications and has undergone training in bodywork, nutrition and movement, specializing in craniosacral therapy ( biodynamic and structural). Conny has developed an integral approach to therapeutic practice combining the non-invasive approach of craniosacral therapy with myofascial release, positional release, acupressure, kinesiology and remedial massage to facilitate the integration of experience at multiple levels.

Conny is a commited meditation practitioner. In her therapeutic practice and her lifestyle she holds a deep core belief: Mind and body are inextricably interwoven with one another. When this unity is supported holistically, enabling resilient self regulation within the autonomic nervous system, the inherent health held within every metabolism can express itself much more successfully. The commitment to that belief expresses itself in every level of Conny’s therapeutic practice and teaching work.
